The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Recife, Brazil.
This small but vibrant Presbyterian church faithfully proclaims God’s word and the Reformed faith in Recife. The city of Recife is the capital of the state of Pernambuco, and is the fifth largest city in Brazil. Francisco Cardoso is not only the pastor of this congregation but is involved in planting other churches in Brazil. His small congregation has begun a church plant in Limoeiro, a town in the countryside, about two hours drive from Recife.
The members engage in witness to people in a pagan, licentious and syncretistic society so that they might not only appreciate, teach, and defend biblical Christianity, but have its principles applied to the whole of our lives.

Miracle Hill Boys’ Shelter was established to care for at-risk, abused and neglected boys. The goal of the shelter is to provide a safe haven and a stable, loving environment to boys transitioning to their next placement or back to their homes.
Provided there is an opening, Miracle Hill does not turn any boy away unless he is suicidal, homicidal or psychotic. Besides these three criteria, no boy is considered too “bad” to be welcomed as part of our family. While in our care, boys are able to learn structure and discipline, and thrive from the unconditional love of staff and dedicated volunteers.
