Stuart’s messages Sunday morning and evening were both very encouraging. If you were unable to be there, I would recommend you listen to the morning service on Sermon Audio. He is starting a series on Psalm 23 and dealt with the idea that because the Lord is our Shepherd, we do not ever need to want for courage.
No matter what we face in this life, even death itself, He is with us as our guide and friend. On Sunday evening, Stuart dealt with the question, “What will keep me sane in an insane world?” If you evaluate things in your life by your feelings alone or your experiences alone, you can mess up your life. They are not reliable gauges. We are to live by faith in the truth of God’s Word and in His promises. We are to have faith in God’s faithfulness to stand behind His Word.
Faith in God’s truth and walking in light of it is the only thing that will keep your thinking straight in a crazy, mixed-up world. Good things for us to remember each and every day.
We will be back in our John series Sunday morning and our study of Proverbs Sunday night, so we hope to see you there. Here is the link to the message. http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=71717452245
Have a blessed week.
In His Service,
